WALKING PHOTOGRAPHY VIEWING TOUR -- I made my own photography exhibit tour in New York City and if you're interested, you can follow in my foot-steps. One of my stops included viewing the Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Paul Strand photo exhibit at the Met (available now thru April 10, 2011.
COMIC CON in NYC - Comic Con doesn't only happen in San Diego, it also happens in New York in October!
One of America's most iconic photojournalists of our day W. Eugene Smith lived amongst known/unknown jazz performers in the 1960's and through his stay, he amassed eight years of photographs and live recordings. W. EUGENE SMITH JAZZ LOFT PROJECT EXHIBIT at the New York Public Library of the Performing Arts at the Lincoln Center. Will be available thru May 2010.
Sotheby's auction house held a rare auction that sold polaroids and photographs held by the Polaroid Collection of Photography. If you missed it -- check out what was available and how much a few of the items sold for. The auction raised $12.5 million.
