Fay Da Bakery opened its first store in the Spring of 1991 on Center Street in New York Chinatown and expanded to have a total of ten stores throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and one in East Brunswick, NJ. Fay Da is famously known for its breads and desserts and this is an example of one of their decorated fruit birthday cakes... melons fill the top, mangos surround the perimeter and varied fruits are found inside -- all making its fruity-licious sponge cake.

Fay Da Bakery is also a good place to go for its Baked Pork Buns (both the round ones and triangle flaky ones), the Hot Dog Buns, Coconut Bread, Sponge Cakes and so much more. You won't be disappointed here. The best and most variety can be found at its 83 Mott Street store, off of Canal Street.
